Now I am working in State Key Laboratory of Space Weather , Center for Space Science and Applied Research , Chinese Academy of Sciences on research of energetic particles' transport and acceleration in heliosphere with theoretical methods and data annalysis.
Between April, 2002 and November, 2005, I worked with Drs. Ming Zhang, Joseph Dwyer, and Hamid Rassoul in Department of Physics and Space Science , Florida Institute of Technology on theoretical investigation of particle and acceleration in space magnetic fields, investigation and modeling of solar energetic particle data from spacecraft, and data analyzation of SEP data from spacecraft.Since September 1998, I have been working with Dr. William H. Matthaeus , at the Bartol Research Institute , University of Delaware . We are working on particle transport theory and simulation in MHD turbulence. We are also working in collaboration with Prof. Micheal Brown and Vyacheslav Lukin in Swarthmore College on MHD and test particle simulation and data analysis of experimental plasma (SSX). We are also using MPI programming in our research on the parallel computers of Bartol Research Institute (a 16-node Beowulf cluster and a 132-node SAMson cluster).
I passed my Ph.D. defense on Dec. 17, 2001, the topic of my thesis is "Charged particle transport in magnetic field turbulence and study of TRIM simulation and SSX experiment, this is the abstract in ps format or in pdf format.
This is a movie ( bigger file (5M) or smaller file(600 k) ) of the time evolution of test particle transport in nearly pure slab magnetic turbulence.
