The physical pictures of solar wind interaction with Earth,Mars and Moon may represent the three typical scenarios of stellar wind-planet interaction,since Earth has bothglobalmagneticffeldandatmosphere,whileMars only has atmosphere,but Moon has none of them.These pictures inglobal-scale had been built up in the second halfofthe20thcentury,thankstotheeffortsofmanyspaceandplanetarymissions after the space era began in the late of 1950s. In the recent decade we have known more details of solar wind interaction withthe local magnetic fields on Earth,Mars and Moon,basedonmodemmeasurementsorhistoricaldocumentaryrecords.TheIGGCAS team has been dedicating to understand:(1)Earth' s magnetic field anomaly and local aurora phenomenon in time scale ofcentury;(2)Mars' crustal field and local atmospheric ion escape;(3)Moon's crustal field and reflection of incident solar wind ions. The surprising results suggest that the solar wind interaction with planets in local is far more complicated than that we have thought before, and the local interaction should be extensively explored in the future.

| 中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所研究员、副所长,中国科学院大学地球与行星科学学院教授、副院长,中科院地球与行星物理重点实验室主任。长期从事行星物理学研究,发表学术论文230余篇,出版学术专著3部从事行星科学学科建设理论研究,发表论文20余篇。中科院A类先导鸿鹄专项首席科学家、嫦娥探月工程四期领域科学家、天问一号科学研究专家委员会委员兼秘书长。《Earth and Planetary Physics》常务副主编、《地球与行星物理论评》副主编《中国科学·地球科学》编委、《JGR-Planets》客座编辑、《Earth and Space Science》客座编辑。中国地球物理学会常务理事、中国空间科学学会理事。2015年获国家杰出青年基金资助。曾获EGUOYSA、中国科学院青年科学家奖中国青年科技奖、科学探索奖、AOGS Distinguished Lecture Award 等奖项。 |
