讲座摘要
The advent of state of the art space based detectors, in particular AMS-02 and the CSES01/02 constellation has open the fields of cosmic rays, ionospheric and magnetospheric physics to the era of precision measurements. In this talk he will review recent results on energetic cosmic rays as well as low energy particles measured in pace to address research topics which ranges from the search for antimatter and dark matter in cosmic rays to the study of geophysics and natural hazard mitigation from space.
嘉宾介绍
 | He is a leading expert in space science and particle physics, currently heading the Physics Department at the University of Trento and chairing the European Space Sciences Committee (ESSC). He previously served as President of the Italian Space Agency and held key positions in Italian science policy. He has received numerous awards, including the International Science and Technology Cooperation Award of the People's Republic of China and the IAF Hall of Fame award. He has published over 460 papers and established the SERMS Laboratory for space environment materials research. He was Deputy Coordinator of the AMS project and Coordinator of the SR2S project. Professor Battiston has long promoted Sino-Italian cooperation, initiating the Matteo Ricci Program in 2004 to align with China's Zhang Heng-1 satellite program, actively promoting collaboration in its development and research. |
