讲座摘要

Solar Energetic Protons may pose radiation damages tospace instruments and crews. Understanding how they are originated and transported remains a critical question in the heliospheric community. I will introduce our recent observational-based studies including the properties and statistics of SEP events, the energy-dependent acceleration and release process, and Machine learning prediction of SEP spectra anddoses.

嘉宾介绍

郭静楠，中国科学技术大学博士生导师，长江学者特聘教授。主要研究方向为空间高能粒子的产生、传输和辐射效应，行星的空间辐射环境及其对深空探测的影响。2019年入职中科大后，主持了基金委面上项目和创新研究群体项目，参与了中科院战略性先导专项B类、民用航天预先研究、中科院前沿科学重点等项目。近年来取得的成果包含Nature子刊、GRL封面文章、期刊编辑亮点文章等，两次被美国宇航局(NASA)报道，两次被欧空局(ESA)高亮，多次被国际知名学术网站作为亮点报道。目前主持国际空间研究协会COSPAR空间辐射专题，是COSPAR日球层委员会的副主席，也是美国地球物理学会AGU会刊EoS的科学顾问和国际期刊Planetary and Space Science的副主编。
